CORKY - as with the original Orky, there was an original Corky (jumping), she lived in the tank with the original Orky and Orky2. When the original Orky died she was left with Orky 2. By the end of the year Marineland had caught 3 more orca, who were kept in the back pool. Patches, Kenny were occasionally brought in to perform in shows with the 2 orca. Sadly she too only managed 2 years in the tank and sadly died in 1970. Shortly after her death Orky 2 was joined by the third female from the back tank who had been named Corky 2. Any reference to either Orky or Corky after 1970 are actually references to Orky 2 and Corky 2 who very nearly erased their namesakes memories. — at Marineland of the Pacific.
