Was on the cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine. Picture painted by the famous artist Harrison Fisher who did more illustrations in the early part of the 20th century and the late part of the 19th than any other artist. When we think of the Gibson Girl we are more apt to be looking at a Harrison Fisher painting than a Charles Gibson one. Gibson didn't do that many but it was because of Charles Gibson and his one Gibson girl that all of them became known as Gibson girls plural. When in fact most, not all, but most were painted by Harrison Fisher. He did more advertisements as well than anyone when he was working in the late 19th and early to mid 20th Century. But most prolific during the late 19th to earlier 20th century.
