IT'S TIME TO STOP THE BULLYING!!

These are the faces of bullied victims. The first picture on the top left is of Jordan Lewis- age 15, on the right, Amanda Todd- age 14, in the middle, Kelly Yeomans-age 13, lower left, Phoebe Prince-age 15, and the lower right, Rebecca "Becca" Sedwick-age 12! IT IS NEVER, EVER OK TO PICK ON SOMEONE BECAUSE OF THEIR LOOKS, RACE, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, OR ANYTHING ELSE FOR THAT MATTER!! I'm "Beyond Fed Up" with people thinking that this is "just something that kids do" or that it's some sort of rite of passage! It's that kind of thinking that has now has kids bringing guns, knives, and other weapons to school! Bullying has definitely gotten worse since I was in school. We need all work together to put an end to this. Upon my research I've discovered that the suicide rate amongst 11-18 year olds has dramatically increased over the past 3 decades! Can you believe it? An 11 year old?? In fact, just last year in London, Ohio, an 11 year old, Hailey Petee took her own life. This poor sweet girl couldn't take the bullying anymore. Whatever happened to the concept It Takes A Village To Raise A Child? We did we stop caring?? ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ I look forward to seeing your thoughts on this topic. And remember, kids really are our future...It's OUR responsiblity to help shape and mold these beautiful children and to PROTECT them! If you see someone being bullied make sure you report it. And stand up for the victim...because if you don't who will??
