Born........To Die!

DO NOT VOTE OR WRITE ANY COMMENTS!!.....FOR THIS ONCE, JUST WRITE YOUR NAME IF YOU HAVE READ MY NOTES, IF YOU WISH......THIS TRUTH IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN VOTES AND PRAISES ON ARTISTIC MERIT....................................... ...It will soon be Christmas time, and the world will go crazy in preparations for feasting and present giving. Some will go to church for the only time in the whole year, but very few will truly celebrate the real reason for Christmas - Christ Himself giving up His Glory and Power as part of the Godhead, and coming in the form of a man, with only one purpose......He didn't come just to live a good life as an example to His followers;.... He didn't come just to show love by healing and working miracles;..... He didn't come just to teach the truth of God's laws, and correct the Pharisees' wrong doctrine and practices;....He didn't just come to present Himself to the Jewish leaders as the Messiah, the promised deliverer; certainly He did all those things - lived a sinless life, showed God's unconditional love, healed the sick and raised the dead, preached God's truth and upbraided the Pharisees for their hypocrisy. He also claimed Himself to be the Jewish Messiah, God the Son, the promised deliverer of Israel, but was rejected by the Leaders of the Jews, and handed over to the Roman government to be crucified. BUT His ONE purpose in coming to earth, was the REDEMPTION of sinful man, decided upon in eternity past, and accomplished by the death of this sinless one, in our place, in MY place upon the cruel Roman cross. This work of redemption is complete for He cried upon the cross, just before He died, the wonderful words, "IT IS FINISHED!" There is nothing more that God could have done to rescue us from the slavemarket of sin, and there is nothing more we can add to this completed work of God, to help gain favor with God, or to buy our salvation. So that is why Jesus came. HE WAS BORN.... TO DIE! Your eternal destiny depends on whether you accept Jesus' finished work on the cross, and BELIEVE, as Jesus does, that God accepts the Lord's sacrifice as full payment for our sin, and places us into His Family, for ever.
