How to add Glitter to your image In Photoshop CS2 ------------------------------------------- Go to Window and click Animation. Open your image. Select the area you want to add glitter to. Duplicate the layer. Make sure only the new layer visible (the eye icon is only turned on for the new layer.) In Filter go to Noise and add Noise. Make sure Uniform and Monochromatic is selected. For the first layer I recommend about 15% but experiment with the setting!!! Duplicate that layer and disable the visibility for the other layers. Again add noise but this time increase the amount slightly maybe to about 20-25%. Repeat the last step again and again if you want but 4-5 layers are sufficient. Now let’s do the animation. The first frame is already there. Go to the second layer and click on the “duplicate selected frame” just at the bottom of the frames. Repeat for each layer but make sure that only one layer is made visible. Now make sure that the animation is set to “forever” (bottom of the animations’ frames). Set the time for each frame – maybe 0.1 second. Test your animation by playing it. Experiment with the time settings… no delay is also pretty cool. Now it’s time to save your animation. Choose “Save for web”. Make sure that preset is set to “GIF 128 Dithered” and transparency is ticked otherwise you’ll get a white background. Now just click “save” and you’ve got your glitter animation!!!! Hi sweetie, I hope this helps... very easy and straight forward when you follow the steps. Any questions, please ask again! Enjoy!!!!
