CHECK THIS OUT AND WHAT DO YOU THINK? SMOKE: Understanding: Positive - God’s word (Jer 23:29), like fire, burns the wood (human nature), and generates smoke (understanding - Ps 18:6-8). Represents God’s anger against sin (not the sinner) - Ps 74:1; Isa 6:1-7; Rev 15:8; 8:4. Negative - God’s understanding separates evil people from the good, & evil thoughts from good ones - Deut 29:20-21; Isa 9:18-19; 65:5; The smoke of Babylon (north - Isa 14:31) obscures man’s understanding of God, & leads to spiritual death - Rev 9:2, 18; 14:11; 18:18.
