Hilda Clark about 1900

: The slogan Delicious and Refreshing appears in printed advertisements in 1886. Coca Cola was invented by John Pemberton on May 8, of the same year. also that same year Frank Robinson came up with the name Coca Cola he was already thinking of the two C's and the now famous script for them. Two years later Asa Chandler starts to take over Coca Cola from John Pemberton acquiring all his formulas. The deal isn't finished though until 1892. Chandler goes into full swing with a huge advertising budget,(for that time) and hires Hilda Clark to do modeling for the company. This is the start of the famous Coca Cola Serving tins and ads.
