Does this make any sense?  I'm going to be updating my profile soon & when I do, I'll put this same concern (about the copycats) on there because I feel, at this time, this is all I can do.  And perhaps others who like what they see on my profile might wish to paste the same thing on their profiles too, and THAT will show our solidarity, hence our collective desire to compel BT to come up with additional language to add to their TOU that will prohibit copycats from copying. 

While our collective complaints to BT, against copycats, are VALID, there really isn't anything they can do within the "CURRENT" framework of the TOU.  So that is why we all have to be in agreement & on the same page, when we go to BT, & we have to be EXCRUCIATINGLY SPECIFIC in what we want them to do about it.  Just complaining to BT "in general terms" will do nothing but create frustration for everyone.  WE MUST BE SPECIFIC.  AND WE MUST BE UNITED!

Prohibitions against "re-blinging" other people's work is already covered in the Terms Of Use [Section 5C(v)] & BT is already very good at deleting the re-blings (they just fall short on suspending the repeat offenders, which I have a major problem with).  But there is NOTHING in the TOU that I've found that SPECIFICALLY PROHIBITS anyone from "making similar blings" (copying) of other people's work.  So, therein lies the futility.  And is why BT's hands are tied in punishing copycats.

Jodie, I understand why you did this but I get this sinking feeling that exerting energy into seeing how easy it is for the COPY CATS to make copies, is just a futile exercise.  I mean, we already KNOW that the copy cats are copying everyone's work -- so what is needed is to put all our heads together & BE SPECIFIC in what we want the Blingee Team to DO about all the copy cats.  They have their hands full already with "CANNIBALS" re-blinging everyone.  (cont'd)
