I WAS TOO LATE FOR THE KITTY CHALLENGE!!!
Oh well, even though I was too late for the challenge, that adorable little kitty is our cat Bessie. We rescued her and her brother (from the same litter) from a shelter. She had been born behind a dumpster down town and likely would not have survived for very long. I think they are 13 years old now (I lose track).
