I do like snakes. They have really strong jaws and a fascinating disgestive tract. Some snakes can swallow humans whole and that unfortunately happened to a small child once a pet shop snake got loose. The snake got put to sleep but I feel more could have been done to prevent this from happening. Snakes are also the mascot of Slytherin (FYI, the BEST house no doubt) and their venom can apparently taste like honey. They're not brilliant pets and a no go for beginners as they need a certain environment to live in but they can happily live on mice and rats. I wouldn't keep one as a pet because they are high maintenance. There are youtube videos of people going out of their way to save abused snakes from terrible pet outlets. ♥ Pet, goth, artistic.
