Black Rhinos are Critically Endangered on the Conservation Status with only 5055 left in the wild. They are currently living in Kenya, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Malawi.
Black Rhinos are mostly nocturnal when all of their drinking and foraging is done. The Black Rhino is the smaller of the two African species, growing up to 1.6 metres in height and 900-1350 kg in weight.
Black Rhino tend to be solitary in the wild. They are the shyer of the two African species, and tend to be the more aggressive. They are also known as The Hook-lipped Rhino.
They are protected but hunters still poach them for their precious horns.
