Love's Bittersweet Song Joyful226
Julia set at her piano trying to play but her mind kept wondering off. Her heart wasn't into it. She thought of John who had gone away for awhile. She missed him so and wondered whenever he would return. She thought it was so true "parting is such sweet sorrow." He had promised he would return. Until then her heart ached for him. She wondered "did he feel the same or were they just words to make it easier to say good-bye." Oh how she wished her heart didn't hurt so much, and a tear came into her eye, she brushed it away but they just kept coming and then it happened she began to play a song through her sorrow, her spirit sang forth in song. She knew then he would return as he had promised.
