The tree of life - L'arbre de la vie

Tribute to a very corageous pigeon mom ! here is the true story : on my creation you see a setting full of sunshine, but this is not the case here in Brussels! since my return from vacation (even though it is not cold) there has been terrible weather : wind, rain, rain, rain, grey sky with very few bursts of sun; despite all of this, this pigeon mon made her nest on a tree in front of my appartment and since the 2nd of august she didn't move from the tree ! she hatched her eggs without failing once! this afternoon I heard an unusual chirping, and looking from my terrace i saw 2 young pigeons moving (i took my binoculars because i'm nearsighted!) ; later on, a pigeon whom i assume is the proud father arrived to guard the nest while the mother finally flew away to fetch some food for the chicks ! then she came back and resumed her protection of the infants when the dad left ! by this blingee i want to pay a tribute to this fantastic mom ! i really think we have a lot to learn from the animals and should sometimes take example on them ! so : a warm welcome to the 2 chicks baptised Titi & Tutu ! an ovation to the mom called Tatia & the dad called Toto !!! i love you sweeties ♥ p.s. Tatia & Toto : i've put seeds on my terrace, so please: enjoy !!! hugs from your aunty poppy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Hommage à une maman pigeonne très courageuse! voici l'histoire vraie: le décor de la création que vous voyez est un décor plein de soleil, mais ce n'est pas le cas ici, à Bruxelles! depuis mon retour de vacances (même s'il ne fait pas froid), le temps a été terrible: vent, pluie, pluie, pluie et ciel gris avec de rares éclarcies; malgré tout cela, cette pigeonne a fait son nid sur un arbre en face de mon appartement et depuis le 2 août elle n'en a pas bougé (sauf auj'hui!) elle a couvé ses œufs sans manquer ! cet après-midi, j'ai entendu un gazouillis inhabituel, et en regardant de ma terrasse, j'ai vu deux jeunes pigeons qui bougeaient (j'ai pris mes jumelles, car je suis myope!); plus tard, un pigeon que je suppose être l'heureux papà est arrivé pour faire la garde du nid tandis que la maman s'est enfin envolée pour aller chercher de la nourriture pour les oisillons! puis elle est revenue, s'est remise à sa place et le papà a quitté le nid! par ce blingee je tiens à rendre un hommage à cette maman fantastique! je pense vraiment que nous avons beaucoup à apprendre des animaux et on devrait parfois prendre exemple sur eux! donc: un accueil chaleureux aux 2 pigeonneaux baptisés Titi & Tutu! une ovation à la maman qui s'appelle Tatia & et félicitations au papà appelé Toto! je vous aime ♥ votre tatie poppy ! post-scriptum : Tatia & Toto: j'ai mis de graines sur ma terrasse , servez-vous et profitez-en !
