Have you stopped to smell the flowers? glance at a bird overhead? a blade of grass? or picked up and studied a new fallen leaf? Ever wonder what story could be told? A story for each so different, and each so the same. Alive and flourishing in the sunlight, blowing in a warm breeze. All is bright and happy. Till the chill of Autumn comes around. The breeze turns to winds that ruffle and toss life about. The feeling in the air changes as the chill more prominent as it becomes. Swift is the wind. Tossing and turning. Life goes here then there. Time after time. Blowing a chill as swift as can be. Yet it's all so gentle it's hardly ever noticed. Blow wind. Blow. Bring the chill with each gust. Till soon it lets go. Lets go of life. Hanging on no more. It's time has come. Away it has been taken. To a place of life beyond imagination. Yet still floating down. Slowly gliding. Swaying here and there, to a place unsure. Till it settles to a spot of chosen by an unknown touch. No tears need to be shed. No tears at all. For no life remains, except a visible reminder. To remain for all to see. A reminder for not all will stop to focus. A reminder that can tell the story. The story of an unknown feeling. An unknown emotion. The story of a new. A story of an old.
